Your data belongs to you
- Export any time. Download your journal entries, invoices and customer list as CSV files from Data in the app, ready for your accountant or QuickBooks.
- No lock-in. Cancel whenever you like. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Deletion on request. Ask us and we delete your data. After an account is closed, its data is deleted within 90 days, except records we must keep by law.
- We never sell your data and never contact your clients. Emails to your clients go from your own mailbox, under your own name.
Each shop's data is kept separate
Every record in SignAcctPro belongs to one company account, and every page and file is checked against the signed-in shop before anything is shown. One shop can never see another shop's clients, prices or books.
Signing in
- All connections use HTTPS encryption.
- Passwords are never stored. Only a one-way secure hash is kept, so not even we can read your password.
- Repeated failed sign-in attempts are limited by email and by IP address, which stops password-guessing.
- Session cookies are marked secure and HTTP-only, and every form is protected against cross-site request forgery.
Who in your shop can see what
The owner invites team members and chooses each person's role and permissions. Office staff can quote and invoice without seeing payroll, and installers can see their jobs without seeing your books. Automated client reminders are only sent when someone you have allowed presses Send.
Your email and payment details
- Mailbox passwords for your shop email are stored encrypted, with a key the web server never serves.
- Subscription payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Card details go straight to Paddle and never touch our servers.
- Your clients' payments go through your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. SignAcctPro never holds your money.
Where your data lives
SignAcctPro runs on servers of our hosting provider, Hostinger, which are backed up regularly. Uploaded files such as proofs and photos are kept in private storage and are served only to signed-in users of the shop they belong to, or through the private links you choose to share.
